This adventure began ten years ago, when Italian and English blood mixed to give rise to the European DC. !Antonio Pizzo e Miles Crookes are the true heart and soul of the diving center.

The European DC was founded in 1995 by Miles Crookes & Antonio Pizzo.
The European DC is perfectly positioned near the port of Santa Margherita and has direct access to its own private beach.
Santa Margherita is on the coast adjacent to the world famous town of Portofino. The name Portofino derives from the Latin Porteus Delfinus, which means port of dolphins, and it is a natural heaven and harbor for the yachts of the rich and famous.
This spectacular part of the Italian Riviera  just 30 minutes from Genoa’s international airport  is sheltered by the headland of Portofino and features one of the most prolific and abundant marine parks in the Mediterranean.
The dives in the marine park are without a doubt some of the best in Europe. The Famous Isulea, described in the book The Best Dive of Sites of the World by Egidio Trainito and Kurt Amsler, is just one of them, and the natural walls and drop-offs make many of the dives simply spectacular.
Many wrecks in the area are mentioned in the Diving Guide to the Mediterranean Wrecks by Kurt Amsler.
